1st RE-BUILT Meeting
January 14th-16th, 2019, Iasi
The first RE-BUILT meeting started on January 14th, 2019, at Faculty of Civil Engineering and Building Services Iasi. The agenda is available here.
The welcome speech was presented by Prof. Irina Lungu, Vice-Rector for International Affairs and University Image, Assoc. Prof. Gabriel Oprisan, Vice-Dean for International Relations and Assoc. Prof. Ancuta Rotaru, the RE-BUILT coordinator.
A brief overview of the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Building Services was presented by Prof. Nicolae Taranu, former dean of the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Building Services Iasi.
Assoc. Prof. Ancuta Rotaru made a presentation of the project and all partners made a short presentation of their universities.
The presentation of the RE-BUILT online platform was made by Assoc.Prof. Petru Mihai, member of the RE-BUILT project.
In the afternoon a technical visit was organised to the 400-year-old historical St. Nicholas Church in Aroneanu, Iasi suburbs, recently rehabilitated.
On the second day, the meeting started with a plenary session regarding description, elements of innovations, expected impact and transferability potential of the first intellectual output requirement of the RE-BUILT project.
A deep up-to-date overview of different sustainable rehabilitation tools capable to provide and certify the performance of the built environment was debated.
In the afternoon of the second day, a technical visit to some newly rehabilitated historic buildings and monuments in Iasi was organised.
The third day of the meeting start with a presentation of the activities to be done until the next transnational meeting held at HST. Also, administrative and financial issues were discussed.
A visit to laboratories of the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Building Services Iasi was the last activity of the fist RE-BUILT meeting.
